This weekend concluded the first week of classes for us here at St. Norbert. Overall, classes went well and having small class sizes help and a wide circle of friends also helped. I know at least one person in each of my five classes this semester. However, most of the fun happened outside of the classroom after classes were done. We started off the year with early morning breakfast and I had an 8:30 am Calculus 2 class. The day of class ended with a well deserved delicious meal at the cafe.

The root directory of the gallery couldn't be found – it may have been deleted or renamed.

Tuesday

Tuesday evening was filled with a lot of thunderstorms and rain, however, it was chicken tender night at the cafe. St. Norbert is known for their food, especially their chicken tenders (one of my favorite foods). We survived the rain and honestly the chicken tenders were definitely worth it.

The root directory of the gallery couldn't be found – it may have been deleted or renamed.

Wednesday

In the evening on Wednesday, some of us ventured onto the docks for a late night dance party! After dancing, we headed over to the Burke chapel for 9 pm Knight Mass. Afterwards we headed over to Dales for a late night meal and met some amazing upperclassmen who lead the faith programs at the college. I am definitely excited to get involved on campus, especially with my faith!

The root directory of the gallery couldn't be found – it may have been deleted or renamed.

Thursday

On Thursday evening, we ventured out over the bridge to the DePere farmer’s market. Not being from around here, most of the people I went with wanted to try cookie dough from the Dough Shoppe. After the farmer’s market, we headed down the street for a Shopko adventure, where we all became kids at heart again. The sunset on the walk back to campus was perfect, and it was a beautiful night spent with some of my new favorite people.

The root directory of the gallery couldn't be found – it may have been deleted or renamed.

Friday

Only having three classes on Fridays, I got to relax a little bit before the weekend. The evening was spent watching a hypnotist at the campus center to round out the last day for the first week of classes.

The root directory of the gallery couldn't be found – it may have been deleted or renamed.

Saturday

Our Saturday was spent watching the first football game of the season for the Green Knights! The half of the floor that did not go home for the weekend headed out to cheer on the team! Our night was spent giving ourselves pedicures and having a high school musical marathon to relax after the week of classes.

The root directory of the gallery couldn't be found – it may have been deleted or renamed.

Sunday

Sunday was spent trying to catch up on our homework and recharge for the upcoming week. In the morning we ventured over to Old St. Joes for the 10 am mass and then headed to brunch. After brunch, we headed over to the library for an easier place to focus and study. In the evening, one of the girls on my floor, Mariah, made cupcakes for us and then we headed for a late night meal at Dale’s. The sunset was beautiful on Main Hall heading back and we ended the night with a Deadpool and Hercules double feature!

The root directory of the gallery couldn't be found – it may have been deleted or renamed.

Every day on this campus is the perfect reminder that I made the right choice, and I fall in love even more every single day.
