For my 18th portfolio post I reviewed another cologne commercial from a company I previously had not looked at, Sephora Romania.

  • relative size — present, The way the commercial is shot, we are regularly shown the male lead up close with the other actors in the background or side of the screen.
  • feminine touch — absent
  • function ranking — absent
  • the family — absent
  • ritualization of subordination — absent
  • licensed withdrawal – absent

This commercial also impressed me with its ability to stay sleek and sexy without violating a bunch of the gender displays. The commercial still implies that the use of this cologne will catch the attention of women everywhere (e.g. 27 seconds, and 33 seconds).
