Alpha Male Strategies is a very popular youtube channel among young men. It is a channel that teaches young men how to ask more alpha and masculine. There are many channels on Youtube similar to this and they all preach masculinity. Sex role genders are very important in these videos and are basically t he whole premise of the video. AMS compares male and female nature to each other taking an essentialist approach. He preaches that men are wired a certain way and that women are wired to be a very different way because of evolution. These kind of videos really press the idea of following gender roles and norms. Reinforcing the idea to young men that in order to get what they want in life, they must act as a man.
