This commercial is all about a female picturing Alexa as a sexy male instead of as a little circle box that talks. The stereotype it is following here is that females are always thinking about love and how they should be focused on love and nothing else. Since this female has a husband and is constantly thinking about some other guy it also plays into the idea that females are whores that cheat and like to jump from guy to guy even though they are married.
Seeing someone as an object
In this commercial Michael Jordan is literally seen as a hot body for this Alexa device. He is not really seen as a person only as this Hot casing. At one point he takes his shirt off and you can see his abs and it is just showing him as an object that is pretty to look at. Now normally this is switched for genders and usually the man is seen gawking over a female and in this commercial it is switched and the female lead is staring at the male.
