We have finally reached a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe where our female superheroes are given the same displays in the film posters as the men. Scarlet Witch and Black Widow are displayed equally among the men on the poster.
Licensed Withdrawal
- Every character is meant to be looked upon, all characters regardless of gender are depicted with the same disposition on their faces.
- Each character has a determined look on their face, displaying more masculine displays of anger/concentration on their targets.
Relative Size/Function Ranking
- Black Widow and Scarlet Witch, the two women on the poster, are in the second and third closest positions on the poster. For the few women that are shown on the poster, they are not made to be inferior to other characters in the poster other than the two main roles.
- Additionally, every character is dressed in their superhero costume, prepared to fight. The women are just as involved in the conflict as the men.
