Feminine:

  • Jack is showing tenderness to his sister, Brie, when he cares for her by taking her to the hospital and being there for her. She needs him and this is evident because she asks for him when she is sad and broken.
  • Doc is showing kindness when she is going to look after Tara. Looking after a patient is his job, but checking in on their family after the patient passes is showing extra kindness.
  • Mel is opening up to Brie about her own miscarriages to make Brie know that she understands what she is going through.
  • Jack opens up to Mel that he is having a hard time believing that Lilly is gone.

Masculine:

  • Jack specifically says that he is not going to the funeral because he does not want to leave his grieving sister alone. However, she mentions she will be okay and that she will text him if she needs anything.
  • Jack confronts Mel and asks her what they are doing because there is a lot of avoiding behavior, etc.
  • Brie tells Brady that she does not believe that he has changed or that he will. She is taking control of the situation.
  • Ricky enlisted in the marines which is a very masculine thing to do.
