For Time Magazine’s Person of the year 2013, they chose Pope Francis. This is a very bright cover compared to the Person of the year of the last year, where Barack Obama was barely visible.

In this cover there’s a more femenine style, as the Pope is dressed in a lighter colored piece of clothing, showing almost all his figure with even his hands appearing, uncommon for men.

He is also shown smiling and there is a definite comfort feel to the picture, but that could be since older people just give off that feeling sometimes. Of course a lot of the reasons for why he’s represented like that is due to being a Pope, as showing a scary or intimidating person would not go well with most people.
