In episode ten, all of the girls do their best to support Gabby as her husband was arrested. Susan continues her love journey while Lynette and Bree continue their domestic lives. 

This episode would pass the Bechdel test. 

  • There are four main characters that are girls 
  • The four girls are all neighbors and close friends, so they interact almost daily
  • In this episode, Bree and Lynnette discussed her new nanny. 

Bree

  • Feminine characteristics: loyal, eager to soothe hurt feelings, loves children, sensitive to others’ needs, 
    • Bree continues to raise her children and do housework including laundry and ironing for Rex, her almost ex-husband after his affair. 
  • Masculine characteristics: assertive, willing to take a stand
    • Bree found out Rex was having an affair after he had a heart attack at the lady’s house. 

Susan

  • Feminine characteristics: affectionate, eager to soothe hurt feelings, soft-spoken, childlike 
    • Mike and Susan become closer and closer emotionally and physically in their relationship. 
  • Masculine characteristics:assertive, willing to take a stand 
    • Finds out her daughter has been hiding the missing neighbor boy in her room. 

Lynette

  • Feminine characteristics:loves children, eager to soothe hurt feelings, compassionate 
    • Lynette finds a new nanny who gets along with her family perfectly. She spends time catching up with friends. 
  • Masculine characteristics: willing to take risk 
    • Lynette decides to get cameras in order to spy on her new nanny. 

Gabby- 

  • Feminine characteristics: loyal, compassionate 
    • Gabby stays loyal and misses her husband while he is in jail. She goes to visit him many times. 
  • Masculine characteristics: assertive, athletic 
    • Gabby becomes angry when investigators begin taking her things, so she hides her favorite things in Bree’s garage.
