It’s parents day at Chilton, but unfortunately things do not go as planned for Rory once again.
Feminine Traits:
- Warm towards the puppies
-
Understanding – understands that her mom needs to work and tells her she doesn’t need to be there for parents day.
- Trying to understand why her mom kissed her teacher at parents day
- Cheerful – she’s excited for her day with her mom
- Loyal – no matter what her mom is going through she is always there for her every step of the way
- Sympathetic – when Rory finds out that a girl at schools parents are getting a divorce she feels very bad for her, even though this girl has not been the nicest to Rory
- Eager to soothe hurt feelings – when her mom is upset at the end, she is the first to rush and help her out.
Masculine Traits:
- Individualistic – with her mom she shows her that can be by herself and can fend for herself
-
Willing to take a stand – when her mom considers breaking up with the boy she tries to make her mom understand why she shouldn’t
- When a girl is spreading rumors about her she is there to take a stand for herself.
- Forceful – upset when the school finds out her mom is dating her teacher
Overall, I feel that Rory is a mix of both feminine and masculine in this episode. There were many instances where she took a stand and was not her typical self. However, she did have her moments where she went back to her feminine side. This episode was a mix up for me and that’s why I feel that Rory is in the middle here.
