OVERVIEW 

Sung by Thomas Rhett. This is another song that is very popular and is still very popular. He is talking about how he wants this girl, but she is saying no. Which he respects but then she shows that and tells him that she does want him. Saying that his T-shirt has never looked that good. This whole song is about flattery and him telling her that she looks so hot and so good. I will be using the Sex-Role Theory to find femininity characteristics throughout the song.

“All hung up like I was on you” He sees her, and he is insistently obsessed. When I hear this lyric, I think about him following around her with his mouth open.

“Your hair messed like a Guns N’ Roses video; Ooh ooh so hot” He is complimenting her for how she can be looking so good. In a moment that she has messy hair and nothing fancy about her, most likely no makeup.

            Affectionate & Compassionate

“Oh no baby no I can’t lie; She sure looks good in my t-shirt” To go off the previous example. He is saying that no one can be as perfect as her right now. Being very affectionate toward her in this lyric.
