The scene that took place for this commercial for bud light was a typical bar crowded with people where there was a gentleman sitting alone at a table most likely waiting for his friends or someone to join him. Cameras were on him and were being watched through a different room where there were a bunch of people queuing in actors to interact with the man who is not an actor. A woman approaches the man with a Bud Light in hand introduces herself and offers the beer but then says if she gives him the beer, he needs to be ready for anything.  He excepts the beer and is taken to a limo full of bachelorettes and DJ (Reggie Watts). From there goes to a dressing room and meets a female celebrity (Minka Kelly) and receives a nice jacket to wear. He is then brought back to the limo full of bachelorettes and Reggie Watts and then it’s taken to another party where he bumps into Don Cheadle and a lama in an elevator. After Don Cheadle leaves the girl that the man walked in with welcomes her twin into the elevator who is wearing the same outfit and holding two bud light beers, making them identical. When the elevator opens to their destination it is a twin party where everyone is an identical twin except the man. They walk through and then go into another elevator on the other side of the party to reach the basement where he is awaited by Arnold Schwarzenegger in a workout outfit in front of table tennis surrounded by a crowd of people. Arnold Schwarzenegger battles the man in a round of table tennis. After Arnold Schwarzenegger loses the match, a wall comes down leading the room to the outside where one Republic is performing for a big crowd of people all cheering the man who won the battle on. So much has happened in this advertisement and a lot can be said about the stereotypic roles that each of these unique characters played. All the women presented were beautiful women dressed up to await the man going through this experience. The fact that all the bachelorettes waiting in the limo for the man we’re just there to entertain him send a message that that’s what men want, and we should strive for that interaction as women to entertain men. All the women that were presented in this advertisement had very few rolls and lines. The only woman that had a major role in this advertisement was the leading woman in the beginning attempting to persuade the man to do whatever for a beer. The woman was very beautiful and approach the man so it could also be said that the man agreed because the woman was beautiful and had approached him who was alone. All the men that were presented in this advertisement showed major dominant characteristics. The tech crew in the back where are majority men Don Cheadle was presented with a llama to appear bigger and more masculine. And Arnold Schwarzenegger was the contestant to play a man going through the experience. All very active big shock factor positions within this advertisement. The one celebrity female actor Minka Kelly, only had to sit in a chair and wait to say hello for a brief second and then was left in the dressing room. It doesn’t help that this is much like a sequel towards the other Bud Light advertisement where it was a group of guys playing a giant game of Pac-Man. It’s very clear that this advertisement is meant for male viewership and is a product made for male users. The way that this advertisement presents male and female characters is a bit more on the stereo typical male role and female role side.
