I’m not quite sure who was the narrator for the speech in the background of moving pictures of farm life but the speech was of God and his needs for a farmer in our world. The narrator consistently said in the words of God I need someone who can be strong to chop down trees and haul bales of hay but gentle enough to care for animals and help her children god needed a farmer. The entire commercial was the speech with pictures of farmers farms and animals and then lastly a picture of the advertised Dodge Ram truck. The people presented in this advertisement were mostly men that looked a bit rugged and a bit older. There were however women presented but they were only to one being an older more rugged woman and then the other being a young little girl. The speech itself was not gender specific until the end where it says that when the farmer’s son grows up that little boy will say I want to do what dad does which is to be at Farmer. This advertisement is completely for the male viewership versus the female viewership. The entire commercial implies that men are to be farmers and to do all this heavy strong work whereas the girls and women are supposed to support the male farmers.
