The superbowl ad for online freelance service Fiverr features CEO Marie Siravo giving business advice that she applies to her work at Four Seasons Total Landscaping. This ad provides us with a diverse representation of the female gender and the roles cultivated by society. Specifically, it’s not everyday a female is seen with such a powerful role within the media. In fact it is quite unique for a female despite being a real CEO, to embody a less stereotypical role on screen. Towards the end of the ad, she is seen interacting with a person walking by mistaking her company for the Four Seasons Hotel, she replies in a way that is less emotional and expressive. Here we see her adopting more traits that are less of the cultivated social norms we are used to seeing. In fact her response comes off as highly aggressive considering when it is compared to the stereotypical female, it almost seems aggressive and resembles that of a more masculine character.
