I’m LOVE’N this commercial. It seems to be a filmed normal McDonald’s experience with real customers and real employees. The premise of this commercial is that the people who are ordering food from McDonald’s, have to pay with love for their family for themselves and for the people around them. They are asked to call their mothers to tell them that they love them, they are asked to dance, they are asked to say something nice about their family, and they are asked to hug and kiss their loved ones. Male workers female workers male customers and female customers of all colors sizes and attitudes. This commercial may be one of the most heartfelt commercials in a small act.  There were no indications of male or female roles presented because they are all real people making this commercial non-biased to any specific gender. The fact that the workers and customers didn’t fall into gender stereotypes plays as a big factor towards equality of customers McDonald’s wants through this advertisement. This may be the first advertisement that has shown no unsettling or unjust rules specifically towards gender that we have seen thus far in the selected advertisements that have already been discussed. The different ages of women and men and appearances of both women and men presented really shows how real this advertisement is or at least tried to present itself.
