Why did it Pass/Fail?
- Princess Carolyn was talking to multiple women in this episode, and the VAST majority of the conversations that were held were not related to men! They were relating to work chaos and Princess Gekko. There was some classic female gossip and there was some work-related talk going on as well. A lot of the episode was woman-to-woman conversation and it really was a nice surprise!!
Other themes noticed:
- BoJack harasses Princess Carolyn and tries to keep flirting with her even after she tells him no multiple times. That seems like a common theme for men in party culture, especially when there is alcohol involved (which there was in this particular scene). BoJack kept mentioning their past relationship and kept trying to do anything he possibly could to get her back. I feel like you see this a lot with men in media; men always seem to do something so extra just to get their lady back.
- Princess Carolyn acts as a nurturer to Todd when he comes back drunk from a commercial shoot; she gives him the tough love treatment just like any loving mother would.
