The next Justin Bieber song I will be analyzing is “As Long As You Love Me” from his Believe album which was released in 2012. This song provides many examples of stereotypical feminine and masculine traits. The theory I will be using to analyze this song is the sex-role perspective theory.

In the lyrics stated above, Bieber is showing how he is aggressive. Bieber is saying he will be her soldier and fight for her every second of the day. No matter what happens, he will be there to protect the girl. Biber is also being competitive by saying if they are broke, homeless, or starving he will be competitive and do anything to help the girl to get her what she wants.

In the lyrics stated above, Bieber is showing that the girl is loyal to him. There is complete trust with one another meaning there is loyalty within the relationship. Bieber also states that even though they have issues, the girl will be understanding and want to work on it as does Bieber.
