In the 2011 Time Magazine cover for Person of the Year, we see someone who’s covered; a protester who’s face we cannot make out. There are no feautres in the cover that would suggest a masculine or femenine representation, as we cannot say for sure who is portrayed from the magazine.

The person does have physical features that make the cover more femenine, but the eyes staring at the reader is more common for a male model. This could be due to the message of protest and strength, which could be portrayed through the eyes as they are serious and looking ahead.
