CHARACTERISTIC OF A COUNTRY SONG sung by a man
- Love
- Woman
OVERVIEW
Sung by Kane Brown. He was singing/talking to his wife. Which this song was released just a week after they got married. He holds his wife to such a high standard because of the amount of love and care she gives to everyone. This song is used quite often for wedding songs today. I will be using the Sex-Role Theory to find and show femininity traits throughout the song.
Femininity examples throughout the song
Loyal
“See the way you’re takin’ care of your mama; They way you’re takin’ of me” She is very caring for the ones that she loves, and he knows she will always be there for him.
Tender
“Yeah, you got that heart of gold” She is caring for everyone, and she would be there in a heartbeat for anyone. This just really shows the audience who she is as a person and how great of a person she is.
Compassionate
“Never leave I love you left unsaid” I love you is such a powerful saying, and this lyric says how they feel about it. The power that those three words mean to them and just pointing at how they always say it to each other through thick and thin. Never forget to say I love you.
Affectionate
“I just wanna wake up every day here in this bed.” He is just so excited to wake up every day and see her sleeping right there. He doesn’t or won’t want anyone else to be there. Pointing toward this is his favorite part of his day.
