This last episode didn’t pass the Bechdel Test as it was more focused on how both Aang and Zuko are connected by their past and how they are supposed to use that to help shape them into who they are supposed to be. It shows the history between the two of them and how they are connected to each other plus how the Fire Nation first started the war and how Zuko’s great-grandfather wanted to have Avatar Roku help him conquer the world and extend the Fire Nation’s wealth and prosperity to it all. Not what the current Fire Lord wants to do by conquering it all and be the supreme ruler. So this episode showed that the reason for the war is way different than what it is currently for when watching the show. Plus this shows that the war has changed from trying to bring wealth to other nations into more globalization of other nations to become more like the Fire Nation
