Why did it Pass/Fail? 

  • This episode unfortunately fails. Joelle and Sarah talk to each other multiple times throughout the episode, but every conversation relates to Herb, because they were at his funeral. There were a good amount of female characters in this episode as well, but the majority of them were unnamed.

 

Other themes noticed:

  • This episode didn’t really have much to do with the topic of gender, believe it or not! It focused on BoJack’s relationship with Herb, as well as the relationship that he had with his castmates. Most of the conversations revolved around Herb and his “treasure hunt.” I guess this makes up for the two passes in a row!
