Bechdel Test: Pass or Fail?

Why did it Pass/Fail? 

  • This episode was SO CLOSE to passing, but when Princess Carolyn and Wanda were talking to each other, they were talking about J.D. Salinger, who is a man. It was so close to passing, but this episode unfortunately failed.

 

Other themes noticed:

  • BoJack was very quick to take back the love that he showed for Wanda (correlation with that and gender?)
  • This episode wasn’t very empty when it came to gender. Most of the entire episode revolved around BoJack or Mr. Peanutbutter, and when the episode could have passed, the creators chose to fail it anyway!
